A: The web site migration service that our company is offering is free of cost (to a certain extent). We’ll transfer your website(s) to our high–end cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from personal experience that swapping web hosting providers can result in lost information and undesired downtime. This is the reason why we will accomplish all that for you at no cost!We have knowledgeable administrators whose main responsibility is to make sure that your site performs exactly as it did on your former web hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in transferring custom–built websites, as well as websites that are based on famous apps like Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: There are plenty of variables to keep in mind – the total amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our web site migration experts, etc. That being said, we do try to implement all website migrations in a 48–hour period. Less sizeable web sites are migrated much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: Yup. We’ll require the name of the site that you would like us to transfer. We’ll also need a way to log in to your old web hosting account so that we can get the files associated with your site.

A: While we transfer your site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your old web hosting provider. Once the migration is completed, we will make sure that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your content is not affected before telling you that the migration is over. Then we’ll instruct you how to transfer the domain over to your web hosting account with us and how to update your DNS resource records.

A: While we migrate your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: We can migrate your web site from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform as long as we can access the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only websites that we can’t transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
