Hepsia's File Manager section allows you to manage the content of your site using simple point 'n' click actions. Right-click context menus offer rapid access to various file manipulation options, whereas convenient drag & drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your PC in no time. You will also find built-in file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to pack and unarchive files effortlessly too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your PC. The integrated drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to easily transfer files between your desktop PC and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your computer and then drag it over to your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop PC. In addition, you can download files and even folders to your hard disk drive by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager GUI, you can create a new file or folder with just a single click. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can update your files effortlessly. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, view the contents of a file or change its permissions, erase a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to zip and unarchive all types of files. It works incredibly fast - simply select the files you wish to compress and click the Compress button. You can even select the archive file type (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract files from an archive to a specified directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager, you really do not need any external software tools in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to examine the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will actually appear on your website. In addition, you will find several built-in file editors, which will give you complete command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more advanced individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
